0:25 – Germany has eased restrictions and exempted more European countries from stringent entry. This is because several countries in the EU have a decrease in the number of COVID cases detected in recent weeks. So the new updates of countries removed from the high-risk list are: Turkey, Sweden, Norway and Lithuania. Other countries joining the low-risk list are Italy and Czech Republic. Uruguay, on the other hand, has been added to the list of areas where a worrying virus variant has been detected.

1:04 – The CEOs of all passenger airline companies flying from Britain to the U.S have approached the governments to relax their Covid-19 restrictions and to reopen routes between the two countries.

1:18 – The new Covid-19 vaccination passports hold sensitive health information of passengers so data security and passenger privacy are of the utmost importance. The IATA association has confirmed that the passenger is in control of who the data can be seen .
