As many Australians in lockdown wait hopefully for light at the end of this COVID tunnel, Denmark has lifted all its restrictions – and with close to 75 per cent of the population fully vaccinated, life for the most part has returned to normal.

Michael Bang Petersen has been an advisor to the Danish Government through this process, and says trust in health authorities was a key driver in achieving a high vaccine uptake.
