G20 in Hamburg: Sherpa meeting

From 4 to 6 July, the G20 Sherpas will meet in Hamburg for a new round of negotiations on the draft of the G20 Leaders’ Communiqué to be adopted at the Summit, next 7-8 July.

The discussions will focus on issues on the G20 agenda pertaining to priorities and initiatives addressed by the various working groups that are part of the Sherpas’ Track of the Forum. The Argentine delegation will be headed by the Sherpa, Ambassador Pedro Villagra Delgado, alongside the G20 Unit team of the Argentine Foreign Ministry.

Argentina will formally assume the G20 Presidency next 1 December.
