Geographic Information   Syria has little trade from the United States. However,  if  the political situation were to change ,it would offer a number of attractions of interest to North Americans

Terrain: primarily semiarid and desert plateau; narrow coastal plain; mountains in west

Climate: The climate is mostly hot and dry in summers, with a mild rainy winter.
