Grenzach-Wyhlen in the border triangle Germany-Switzerland-France can be described as a suburb of Basel (Switzerland) on the German side. Due to resident large companies such as Roche, Bayer, BASF and DSM and the many Swiss customers who shop here, Grenzach, as a twin municipality of Grenzach-Wyhlen with around 15,000 inhabitants, has a very well-equipped infrastructure and comparatively many shopping opportunities.
