An artist’s neighborhood designs become a tourist attraction in Cuba

Cuban artist José Fuster has spent the past twenty years transforming a suburb of Havana into an open air exhibition. Entire streets are covered with murals, paintings and sculptures including his own house and those of his neighbors.

They’ve become a major tourist attraction and his house is one of the most visited art complexes in Cuba.

There are a lot of influences in Fuster’s work. Some call him the Picasso of the Caribbean.

Correspondent Michael Voss introduces us to Jose who is this week’s Urban Voice.
