It really isn’t hard to drive here and if your looking up how to travel Costa Rica this will help you with moving around the country while your are visiting. If your coming to places like Samara or Tamarindo then a small car would be fine but if you plan on going into the mountains or along the coastal roads then an AWD SUV is best.
