Terrorist attack in Pakistan.

In view of the deadly terrorist attack perpetrated today in the city of Lahore, Pakistan, which tragically killed over fifty people and injured many others, Argentina strongly condemns such unwarranted expressions of violence.

The Argentine Government extends its condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of Pakistan, especially to those injured and to the victims’ families.

Once again, Argentina reaffirms its intention to strengthen the fight against terrorism and to ensure international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
