Condolences over death of an Argentine citizen in Barcelona

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship has found out that the Spanish-Argentine citizen to which the information provided by the Catalonia Emergency Service refers is Silvina Alejandra Pereyra, 40, who resided in Barcelona for ten years and was a dual citizen of Argentina and Spain. Such confirmation was obtained through contacts with relatives residing in Bolivia after identification of the body by a cousin of the deceased in the Barcelona morgue.

The Argentine Government deeply regrets the pain her death has caused to her family and friends and both the Consulate in Barcelona and the Embassy in Spain are in contact to coordinate assistance as required.
