Argentina ratifies to INTERPOL red notices regarding AMIA attack

On Monday, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie was received by INTERPOL Secretary General Jürgen Stock, in Lyon, France.

The aim of this meeting was to ratify the full force of the red notices in agreement with the decision of the AMIA prosecution unit and Argentine judicial authorities. A political dialogue was held to reaffirm Argentina’s commitment to continue the investigation processes so as to shed light on the AMIA case.

The meeting also followed up on other cooperation actions between Argentina and INTERPOL; prominent among them were those related to INTERPOL’s interest in actively participating in actions at international level to combat terrorism, as well as other fields of the fight against organized crime, especially drug trafficking.
